Forbidden Love

A couple of years ago, I blogged about my first encounter with a vampire. A ninja-karate-vampire to be exact.

Recently, I have become acquainted with another vampire, Edward Cullen. For those of you that don’t already know, he is the vampire that women have been swooning over in the Twilight saga. I am a little late to hop on the bandwagon, but I started reading the books last week and I found myself wanting a vampire of my own.

I was really into a good part of the book when Birddog walked into the living room and the following conversation ensued.

“What are you reading?”

“Twilight. It is that vampire book that everybody has been talking about. The movie came out this week.”

“Is it good?”

“Well, I hate to tell you this, but I think that I am falling in love with a teenage vampire.”

“Isn’t that illegal?”

“The teenage part or the vampire part?”

“The teenage part.”

“I tell you that I am falling in love with a vampire and all you are concerned about is if he is old enough for me??”

“Well, I figure that I can’t fight a vampire. As long as he pays me what you are worth, then I guess he can have you.”

How much am I worth??? Hey, come back here! We aren’t finished with this!”

(PS – Dear Santa, I want a vampire for Christmas.)

PSS...Dear Santa send a vampire to Heather's friend Kelly too!!! :)

I loved all of the books. Hope there will be more to come. Have you checked out the partial draft to Midnight Sun? It is on the author's website. Edwards point of view when Bella arrives at school the first day.

Well, I want to post on your profile not this post. You said, "I love the feeling of sand between my toes and cleaning my ears out with a q-tip."

That is way too funny. I love to clean my ears with q-tips (and it has to be that brand btw) to the point my husband makes total and complete fun of me.

My Mom did it too and she actually got a q-tip lodged in her ear canal and had to get it extracted. That incident still didn't deter me.

Finally someone else like me in that aspect.

You have no idea that reading this post just made my freaking YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have been obsessed with this series for the past two years (as in I have read the entire series over 5 times), but nobody else has until the past 4-5 months, and I will admit I was waiting for you to finally find them. Because of Babybird I was patient and thought I would let you find them for yourself. Ah, I am so glad that I can now talk to you about these books!! So, now that I am out of school, I will come over and can do whatever, hopefully?!?!?! Sorry for such the long message, I am just so excited.

So tell EC I said hello and I will hopefully see you soon.

And Edward is the PERECT man, I tell Seth all the time I wish he was a vampire...
